Kelly’s Craft can set record straight

KELLY’S CRAFT, desperately unlucky first time over fences at Ballinrobe last week, can redress the balance in the Armada Worldwide ’Chase at Tipperary tonight.

Returning after a long break and quietly supported in the market, the eight-year-old was giving an exhibition of jumping heading to the third last.

He appeared to be full of running, but his prospects went west when buckling badly at the back of the obstacle. To his credit, he rallied in the closing stages, but could only fill third behind Monjoyau.
