TONY MCCOY showed just why connections moved for him when giving Brave Inca an inspired drive to beat Harchibald in the Emo Oil Champion Hurdle at Punchestown yesterday.

This was McCoy at his awesome best, riding the type of race about which most mortals can only dream.

He lobbed along on Brave Inca, upsides Bob What, for the early part of the contest, making no effort to set a spanking gallop.
