Le Roi Miguel looks set to pass stiff examination

I AM very reluctant to have anything to do with any contest over fences at Punchestown this week, so stiff are the obstacles, but an exception has to be made with Le Roi Miguel, who is napped to land today’s Swordlestown Cup Novice Chase.

He is, essentially, a brilliant jumper and looks well capable of putting in a clear round!

If he does then the rapidly improving five-year-old will be hard to beat.
