A marking chart will not suffice and those without a passport will be turned away. According to the SJAI, it is illegal under EU legislation to move a pony/horse off a holding if the animal does not have a valid identification document.

Pony measuring takes place at Cork Show Grounds tomorrow; O’Gorman’s Equestrian Centre, Tipperary, and Mullingar one week later and Claremorris on Monday, December 13. Owners are also advised that only animals presented in a bridle will be processed.
