ANTE-POST favourite One Knight heads a field of 24 left in at yesterday’s confirmation stage for the Coral Welsh National at Chepstow next Tuesday.

The 2003 Royal & SunAlliance Chase winner made a successful comeback after a year on the sidelines with victory in the Rehearsal Chase at the Welsh track earlier this month, after which he incurred a 4lb penalty.

Philip Hobbs’s runner is 6-1 market leader with the sponsors for the valuable handicap chase over three miles five and a half furlongs.
