Ruby’s treble

RUBY WALSH and Paul Nicholls were in red-hot form at Hereford yesterday, combining for a 10-1 treble.

Meanwhile, Johnny Murtagh will be back in action at York today after giving up his only ride at Yarmouth yesterday.

The Irish jockey was thrown from the James Fanshawe-trained Buster Hyvonen when his mount reared in the stalls before the closing 10-furlong maiden.

“He banged the top of his knee on the side of the stalls. It was badly bruised, but he’s had plenty of physio and a good walk,” said his agent Ray Cochrane.
