CHAMPION Hurdle hero Rooster Booster has been installed 11-2 favourite with the sponsors for the Tote Gold Trophy at Newbury next month following the publication of the weights yesterday.

As expected, the 10-year-old has been allotted top weight of 11st 12lbs for the £120,000 contest over an extended two miles on Saturday, February 14.

The Philip Hobbs-trained grey has finished second in two previous attempts at this prestigious prize.
