Be Brave and side with Inca in Festival Hurdle
There is little doubt Harchibald will be galloping all over his rival for most of the journey, but when the real battle begins to rage it is Brave Inca who may have the answers.
He ran below par last time when finishing a close third behind Solerina and Golden Cross, never looking happy in the very testing conditions.
Brave Inca is better judged on his previous half a length defeat of Essex (rec. 5lbs) at Punchestown.
Harchibald was also in that contest and was desperately unlucky.
He appeared to be full of running when Paul Carberry tried for a non-existent gap and Harchibald was completely stopped in his run.
He has since gone to Cheltenham, where he beat the well-exposed Intersky Falcon in smooth style. Brave Inca to make all is the prediction.
Firth Of Forth is fancied to get punters away to the perfect start in the opening Bewleys' Hotel Glasgow Maiden Hurdle.
He made a race of it with the useful Merdeka at Fairyhouse and stepping up another two furlongs in trip now is just what's required.
Ruby Walsh has prospects of a double with Willie Mullins' Our Ben and Frances Crowley's Brogella.
Our Ben, a cracking third behind No Refuge and Racing Demon in the SunAlliance Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, is napped to make a winning debut over fences in the Bewleys' Hotel Manchester Beginners Chase.
The consistent Brogella, a creditable three lengths second to Fortmassini in a competitive Navan handicap last time, can land the Bewleys' Hotel Dublin Airport EBF Mares Hurdle.
Carthalawn, a horse who doesn't find a whole lot of the bridle, can outclass his rivals in the Advanced Securities Maiden Hurdle at Limerick today.
