RACING in Britain is in a state of utter crisis, following the shock raids by the police yesterday morning.

The scale of the raids and the huge amount of information the police have apparently amassed has ensured that racing has again made the front pages of newspapers, and dominated radio and TV bulletins for all the wrong reasons.

Racing, one suspects, is about to be dragged through the mire like never before.
