LADY FONIC has a leading chance in a competitive looking O2 Customer Care EBF Maiden at Limerick tonight.

Kevin Prendergast's filly is on the upgrade, having started with a moderate fourth behind Deyrnia at Clonmel back in March.

She stepped way up on that effort at Fairyhouse sixteen days ago. Unfancied in the market, the daughter of Zafonic stayed on quite nicely in the straight to be beaten three lengths by Dream To Dress. That was a smart effort, considering Dermot Weld believes Dream To Dress may be good enough to take her chance in the Epsom Oaks next Friday.
