Georges Girllooks poised togo one better

GEORGES GIRL, with the conditions of the contest in her favour, has to be fancied to land the featured Grade Two Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran Park this afternoon, on a card which sees Grand National hero, Monty’s Pass, return to action over flights.

A very useful handicapper, Georges Girl should have been out of her depth last time when contesting the AIG Europe Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown.

But Francis Flood’s mare ran the race of her life to get within a head of Thierry Doumen’s Foreman and a reproduction of that sort of effort should certainly be good enough!
