Smart Huggies Concorde can fly past rivals in sprint

THE lightly-raced Huggies Concorde can land the sprint at Youghal.

The Christy O’Callaghan trained runner looked a decent sort when getting off the mark at the second attempt here in December in a runaway 29.32.

The selection started favourite on his only subsequent start last month, but failed by one and a half lengths to reel in one of tonight’s rivals, Sophies Spice, in 17.96. Huggies Concorde has plenty of scope for improvement and can reverse the placings.
