MOUNTLEADER LANA put up a tremendous performance in the opening heat of the confined 29.50 Inniscarra Stakes at Curraheen Park last evening, scoring in a smart 28.89.

The Millstreet owned bitch never gave her supporters the slightest anxiety as she broke smartly from trap 4 to make every yard of the running and scoring by six lengths by Kilquane Moth.

The second heat also provided a trap to line winner, with the even money favourite Sullivans Quay obliging from Coomlogane Royal in 29.35.
