Risk Accessor percentage bet in tricky match

THURLES has a disappointing appearance this afternoon with three largely impossible-to-solve handicaps, a bumper for horses who have never run and a two-horse race making up the bulk of the programme.

Hopefully, neither of the two possibilities for the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Chase will sidestep the issue, although if one of them does then the credit side is that we will be tucking into dinner half an hour earlier than might have been anticipated!

In any case Risk Accessor and Splendour promise an interesting little tussle. On overall form there is no doubt Risk Accessor is the better horse, but the situation is complicated by the fact Splendour produced a display at Roscommon last time far in advance of anything he had achieved over fences previously.
