Shining Keano gives polished display to take Fedamore prize

SHINING KEANO, the property of Pat Treacy from Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, proved a worthy winner of the Maryville Stakes, and the 800 that went with it, at Fedamore Co. Limerick yesterday when he defeated Tom Barrett’s (Co. Limerick) Seefin Oscar in the decider.

With an abundance of hares, both the Maryville Stakes and the Fedamore Stakes were brought down to the finals stages at Carmody’s with the beat moving to Corridan’s for the two finals.

In the Fedamore Stakes decider, the honours went to the locally owned High Stool Five Syndicate’s Leannes Hunter, who proved too good for Galtee Shadow.
