Nora Stapleton is Sport Ireland's Director of Strategic National Governing Body Programmes and Women in Sport Lead.

The Donegal native has played in three rugby World Cups, winning two Six Nations Championships including during the historic Grand Slam campaign of 2013. Prior to that, she helped UCD complete an FAI Women’s Cup three-in-a-row and previously won an All-Ireland intermediate ladies football final with Donegal.

They discuss the recent €4 million investment under the Women in Sport (WIS) Programme and how that funding actually helps. Stapleton details how her sporting career influences her work now and the benefit of initiatives like social camogie.
