Róisín Ní Riain won her third medal of the World Para Swimming Championships, and her second silver, by finishing second in the S13 100m backstroke in Singapore.

Ní Riain touched the wall in 1:06.26, a new personal best. She was 0.77 of a second behind winner Gia Pergolini of the USA. Italian Carlotta Gilli finished third in 1:07.87.
