Adeleke named in Ireland team for World Athletics Relays

Dubliner included in 14-strong team for May event in China with World Championships qualification on the line

Ireland's hopes at next months World Athletics Relays have been given a huge boost with the inclusion of Rhasidat Adeleke in a 14-strong team for the event in China

The Paris Olympian will return to national team colours over the weekend of May 10-11 in Guangzhou as all three Irish 4x400m teams — women, men and mixed — look to lock down qualification places for the 2025 World Athletics Championships which take place in Tokyo this September.
