Ulster Elks withstood a late Ards surge to grab the win. Pegasus secured a potentially crucial home win against UCD in the battle for Champions Trophy spots.

Old Alex held Catholic Institute to a draw in Rosbrien, with the hosts getting the bonus point.

In the Men’s EYHL, Three Rock secured a huge win over Banbridge at home. Lisnagarvey made no mistake against Monkstown to keep the pressure on. Avoca secured a crucial win over YMCA in their battle for survival. Annadale grabbed their second bonus point draw in a row against Corinthian. Pembroke left it late to beat UCD in Belfield.

In the Women’s EYHL2, Portadown and Monkstown both secured wins against Muckross and Harlequins to tighten their grip on Pool A.

Queen’s made it five from five against Lurgan and Corinthian snuck past University of Galway in Pool B.

In the Men’s EYHL2, Cork C of I climbed to top spot of Pool A with their win over Bandon, while Kilkenny picked up a home win over Leinster rivals Railway Union. In Pool B, Portrane continued their perfect form with their away win over Clontarf, and Instonians returned to winning ways in a tight encounter with Pool B.

In the Munster Men’s Division 1 Bandon had the chance to win the league title on Sunday if they got the better of Harlequins.

Had they done so it would have been the first winner outside of Church of Ireland or Harlequins in more than 40 years.

However, they came up short with Harlequins winning by 4-1, which now puts them in the driving seat to take the title.
