Denis O’Sullivan (Caheragh) added his name to the prestigious Mikie Hourihane Cup when he decisively saw off the challenges of Kevin Minihane and former winner, Colm Crowley, at Bauravilla.

He set down a marker by winning the opening exchange. Minihane came to the fore in the exchanges to Dekker’s, where he led O’Sullivan by 10m and Crowley by 30m.
