SOLID PERFORMANCE: Kilrea's Josh McErlean.

On what was his first World Rally Championship event this season on tarmac, Kilrea’s Josh McErlean, co-driven by Cavan’s James Fulton, brought their Toksport run Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 home in fifth place in the WRC2 category and 11th overall in the Central European Rally, the penultimate round of the series. 

Another Irish crew Moira’s William Creighton and co-driver Liam Regan (Ford Fiesta Rally2) were ninth in the category while the Wexford/Waterford pairing of Eamonn Boland/MJ Morrissey (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) were 12th in WRC2 and second in WRC Masters.
