The weekend’s Rali Bae Ceredigion in Wales dovetails as rounds of the European Rally Championship and the Probite British Rally Championship. Changes to the legislation in April 2017 paved the way for events to be run on closed public roads in England and Wales.
In 2019 the rally was the first ever timed special stage event to take place entirely on closed public roads in Wales. Its rise to prominence in such a short space of time has been meteoric - now underlined by ERC and BRC status. BRC contender and home hero Osian Pryce won the inaugural event and also won last year; ERC leader Hayden Paddon won in 2022.
