Daniel Wiffen rushed to hospital after falling unwell before Olympics closing ceremony

Daniel Wiffen has said that he missed being flagbearer at the Olympics Closing ceremony due to being rushed to hospital after falling unwell.

Wiffen, who posted a message on X, thanked everyone for reaching out and his disappointment at missing the Closing ceremony.
