As the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship got underway last weekend with the Corrib Oil Galway International Rally, the event stewards dished out a raft of fines (totalling €4,000). 

They issued a suspension and a verbal reprimand, while they have referred some matters to a National Tribunal of Enquiry.
