Spain’s quick hands and counter-punching penalty corners consigned Ireland men to a win-or-bust showdown with Korea tomorrow for the final Olympic men’s ticket on offer for Paris 2024.

In a telling four-minute spell in the third quarter, Rafael Vilallonga and captain Marc Miralles scored with a brace of penalty corners for a 2-0 win.
