Ireland women answered coach Sean Dancer’s call to turn defence into glittering attack with a rampant 8-0 win over Ukraine on Monday lunchtime.

A brace from Sarah Torrans led the way, with seven different scorers in all and captain Katie Mullan plundering a fine solo goal to round off a highly satisfactory second clean sheet for Dancer’s side.
