Motorsport Ireland has extended its deadline to its affiliated clubs for the return of their annual affiliation agreement until Friday next. On the eve of last Friday’s proposed submission deadline, clubs were informed of the extension by Motorsport Ireland, who claimed the extension was “in light of some late feedback received from clubs.” The latest agreement, apparently now the third edition, has amended a number of the twenty-two terms and conditions.

A circular issued to the affiliated clubs detailed the logic behind last Thursday’s and previous communications. Clubs that had already submitted their signed agreement prior to last Thursday were told by MI that they are deemed to have accepted the latest amended version, “unless you notify Motorsport Ireland otherwise by the above time and date.”
