A brilliant start and a determined finish saw Ailbhie O’Shea capture the Munster Junior Ladies title at the expense of Siobhán Kelleher in a brilliant final at Timoleague.

She opened with a brilliant shot to take the first tip 30m. She tightened her grip by opening the first bend in three more to extend her lead to a bowl of odds. Kelleher played a brilliant sixth shot past the cottage to bring the lead under a bowl. O’Shea was wayward with her next three, the first to the left and the next two to the right, which saw her odds drop to 25m.
