An animated German bowling song saluted Anke Klöpper’s sensational last shot victory in the Kingston’s New Homes Queen of the Roads semi-final at Ballincurrig. She defeated superstar Kelly Mallon and Munster champion Geraldine Curtin in a classic.

Curtin gained a foothold in the first half, the middle belonged to Klöpper and as the line approached Mallon looked set to pull off another famous win.
