: The Rugby World Cup kicked off in explosive fashion with Ireland getting off to the start they were looking for. Andy Farrell and co will be hoping for a similar performance again this weekend when they take on Tonga at the Stade de la Marseille in Nantes at 8pm (Irish time). As the League of Ireland ramps up towards the business end of the season its first versus second this Friday evening at the Brandywell. Derry City host league leaders Shamrock Rovers who sit four points clear at the top of the Premier Division. Both sides have been in flying recent form with Rovers beating Bohs 3-0 while Derry hammering bottom of the league side UCD. There are seven games left before the league concludes the first week in November, this game may decide if supporters are in for an edge of your seat season finish. Game is live on Virgin Media.
