It's another action packed week of sport with the Rugby World Cup continuing after an exciting opening weekend, the League of Ireland is heating up as the season ends draws near and the golf action continues this weekend as Shane Lowry attempts to retain his title at Wentworth.

Don't Miss: The Rugby World Cup kicked off in explosive fashion with Ireland getting off to the start they were looking for. Andy Farrell and co will be hoping for a similar performance again this weekend when they take on Tonga at the Stade de la Marseille in Nantes at 8pm (Irish time). Be sure to tune in to watch the game live on RTÈ 2 and follow all the games live on RTÈ 2, Virgin Media and ITV. 

Set the Sky Box: As the League of Ireland ramps up towards the business end of the season its first versus second this Friday evening at the Brandywell. Derry City host league leaders Shamrock Rovers who sit four points clear at the top of the Premier Division. Both sides have been in flying recent form with Rovers beating Bohs 3-0 while Derry hammering bottom of the league side UCD. There are seven games left before the league concludes the first week in November, this game may decide if supporters are in for an edge of your seat season finish. Game is live on Virgin Media.
