Reigning champion Judd Trump knocked out of World Snooker Championship by Kyren Wilson

Defending champion Judd Trump crashed out of the World Championship after a 13-9 defeat to eighth seed Kyren Wilson.

Trump became the 18th victim of the so-called ‘Crucible Curse’ which has seen no first-time winner retain the crown since the event moved to the venue in 1977.
