Craig Breen rolls his Citroen at Wales Rally

Newly-recrowned world champion Sebastien Ogier widened his lead at the Wales Rally GB on Friday afternoon.

Ogier topped the time-sheets in the Myherin and Sweet Lamb speed tests in north Wales to add to his morning superiority.

The Frenchman was quickest in his Volkswagen Polo R through Myherin by 4.8 seconds from team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala.

Four-time world champion Ogier then won Sweet Lamb by over a second from Thierry Neuville to more than double his morning lead over Estonia's Ott Tanak to 17.4 seconds.

Ireland's Craig Breen rolled his Citroen DS 3 right at the start of the Myherin afternoon stage, but neither he nor co-driver Scott Martin were injured.

Andreas Mikkelsen continued to struggle with only rear-wheel drive in his Polo R following a driveshaft breakage in the morning.

The Norwegian dropped more than two-and-half-minutes and fell away from the top 10 leaderboard.
