Dublin’s James McGee just one win away from Australian Open
Dubliner James McGee has won his second match in the qualifying stages of the Australian Open and is now just one victory away from a place in the tournament proper.

McGee, who made it to the first round of the US Open in 2014, got as far as the second qualifying round for the Australian tournament last year and has previously made it to the third qualifying round of the French Open.
In order to stake a place in the Grand Slam tournament which begins on January 18, McGee will have to claim a third victory inside a week against German Daniel Brands.
