Ireland's top triathletes enjoyed some impressive finishes at the Yokohama World Triathlon Series today, with Aileen Reid claiming 6th and Bryan Keane coming 13th.

Ireland's top triathletes enjoyed some impressive finishes at the Yokohama World Triathlon Series today, with Aileen Reid claiming 6th and Bryan Keane coming 13th.

The women's race saw USA's Gwen Jorgenson enjoying a third straight Yokohama win.

Derry triathlete Reid, had a front pack swim and bike and posted a 34:44 in the 10k run to finish well inside the top 10.

The result sees Reid move up to 7th in the World Triathlon Series rankings.

The men's race saw Bryan Keane from Cork back with his Chengdu World Cup 5th place finish with another fantastic result.

Keane had a brilliant swim and bike combo and posted a blistering 31:08 time in the 10km run to finish 13th, elevating him to 33th in the World Triathlon Series.

Banbridge youngster Russell White finished in 50th position.
