Injury worry for Ferrer

Wimbledon fourth seed David Ferrer suffered an injury scare this morning ahead of his quarter-final appearance against Juan Martin del Potro.

The Spaniard cut short his practice session on Court 16, just a couple of hours before he was due to take on Del Potro on Centre Court at 1pm.

Wimbledon officials said at midday that the quarter-final was still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

Ferrer has been troubled by a toe injury on his left foot throughout the tournament.
