McQuiad nomination to be discussed

Pat McQuaid’s nomination for president of the UCI will be discussed at an extraordinary general meeting in June, Cycling Ireland has announced.

The embattled president of cycling’s world governing body will be the subject of the June 15 meeting in Dublin after his initial endorsement did not observe the full rules and regulations. The decision will now go to a membership vote.
