Tennis star Ljubicic to retire

Former world number three Ivan Ljubicic has announced he will retire from tennis next month following the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.

The Croatian, who turns 33 this month, was a fixture in the top 10 between 2005 and 2007, reaching his career high in August 2006, the same year he made the semi-finals at the French Open, his best grand slam performance.
