Davydenko crashes out of German Open
Top seed Nikolay Davydenko's troubled season continued when he crashed out in the third round of the German Open in Hamburg to Kazakhstan's world number 82 Andrey Golubev last night.
Golubev needed just 89 minutes to wrap up one of the best wins of his career 6-4 6-4 and heap more woe upon Davydenko, who is making a stuttering comeback after three months out with a broken wrist.
