Davydenko wins Qatar Open

In-form Nikolay Davydenko bounced back after losing the first set 6-0 to defeat Rafael Nadal 0-6 7-6 (10/8) 6-4 in a thrilling Qatar Open final in Doha today.

The Russian had beaten world number one Roger Federer to reach the final and added the scalp of the second-seeded Spaniard as he claimed another title to follow his victory at the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London in November.
