Contador in yellow as Tour de France resumes

The Tour de France resumes today with Spaniard Alberto Contador in the yellow jersey.

The Astana rider is 97 seconds ahead of his teammate Lance Armstrong as the race enters its 16th stage from Martigny to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

The competitors are facing a gruelling time on the Alpine stage, which features two epic climbs, including a category one and another that's deemed to be beyond categorisation.
