Progress for Irish sailors

Tim Goodbody took 15th in Race 8 in the Finn class to place 21st overall in the 2008 Olympics sailing regatta today.

Peter O'Leary & Stephen Milne made their Olympic debut today in the Star men's keelboat class where they placed 6th in Race 1 of their 10-race opening series.

Gerald Owens and Phil Lawton in the 470 class moved to 14th place overall when they came 21st place in Race 7.

Ciara Peelo in the Laser Radial class placed 7th in Race 4 to move to 15th overall.

Goodbody is the first of the Irish sailors to complete their regatta.
