Sharapova exits Wimbledon

Maria Sharapova was dumped out of the second round of Wimbledon in spectacular fashion today by little-known fellow Russian Alla Kudryavtseva.

The 2004 champion failed to produce any sort of a challenge on Court One as she slumped to a 6-2 6-4 defeat at the hands of a player ranked 154th in the world.
