Venus makes progress in Korea Open

Venus Williams eased into the last eight of the Korea Open on Thursday at the expense of Tamarine Tanasugarn.

The top-seeded American wasted little time against her Thai opponent as she wrapped up a 6-2 6-1 victory in their second-round clash.
