Fourth-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova committed 34 unforced errors to her opponent’s nine and still won her second round match on the fourth day of the US Open in New York.
The Russian, a surprise women’s singles champion here in 2004, kicked off the day session at the Arthur Ashe Stadium when she beat France’s Camille Pin 6-3 4-6 6-0.
