Bartoli to play Williams in final as Henin crashes out

Number one seed Justine Henin of Belgium has lost her women’s singles semi-final match against Marion Bartoli, of France, 6-1 5-7 1-6.

Henin had earlier seemed to justify her status as an overwhelming favourite, breaking 18th seed Bartoli to love in the second game of a match switched from court one to Centre Court due to the five-hour epic between Novak Djokovic and Marcos Baghdatis.
