Roger Federer became only the eighth man ever to win three consecutive Wimbledon titles with a majestic victory over Andy Roddick on Centre Court today.

The Swiss world number one took 101 minutes to conquer second seed Roddick 6-2 7-6 6-4 and join All England Club immortals like Pete Sampras, Bjorn Borg and Fred Perry.
