Henman's hopes ended at Wimbledon
British favourite Tim Henman has crashed out of Wimbledon today, losing his second round match 6-3 2-6 6-3 3-6 6-8 against Russia's Dmitry Tursunov.
Henman had the advantage of serving first in the deciding set and kept his nose in front until the ninth game when Tursunov came up with some stunning returns to break.
Henman got back to 15-30 with an ace but then crucially served a double fault and another brilliant winner gave Tursunov a 5-4 lead.
Henman saved two match points at 15-40 to level the game again.
There was plenty more drama to come however, Tursunov breaking serve again to lead 7-6 and give himself a second chance to serve for the match.
This time he made no mistake, serving out to complete a well-deserved 3-6 6-2 3-6 6-3 8-6 victory.
