Nieminen draws Henman
British number one Tim Henman was today drawn against Finland’s Jarkko Nieminen in the first round of Wimbledon, which gets underway on Monday.
The 30-year-old has been seeded sixth for this year’s tournament at the All England Club.
Of the other home favourites for the British crowd, Scottish teenager Andrew Murray, given a wild card entry, will meet a qualifier, while fellow unseeded Brit Greg Rusedski is scheduled to face Spain’s Alberto Martin in the first round.
