Heffernan disqualified from 20km walk final

Cork's Robert Heffernan has been disqualified from the 20km walk final in Athens after he picked up the maximum three penalty points.

The event was won by Italian Ivano Brugnetti, who completed the course in a time of 1 hour, 19 minutes, and 40 seconds.
