Power chasing gold

Ireland’s Ciaran Power was pushing for victory in the Olympic men’s cycling road race today.

Power, who rides for the Navigators Insurance Cycling Team in New Jersey, was part of a six-strong breakaway group which led the peloton by one minute towards the end of the race which had been going on for several hours.
